John deere 5075e neutral light flashing. A blinking neutral light and loss of movement often indicate a transmission safety or hydraulic issue. So thought I’d ask on here okay first problem is parked tractor last week went back few days and it want crank with key pull it 10 feet cranks right up starter I had this light come on today and then I had a burning smell and smoke coming out of the joint in the upright exhaust. Checked all fuses and relays. The tractor starts and runs great but neutral light just flashes and it won't go into any gear. If bad - won"t start. Code says “reverser in gear at start” and something about not-neutral switch. Can anyone shed light on what to look at. Also the PTO button will not engage PTO.
